Wire In The Blood is a television crime drama based on the novels of mystery writer Val McDermid. Robson Green plays Dr. Tony Hill, a world-weary clinical psychologist asked to join forces with ambitious police detective Carol Jordan (Hermione Norris) to solve a series of grisly murders. Together the duo profile a number of possible suspects in their quest to track down the unique killers. The bleak, gritty landscapes of Northern England provide a literal and metaphorical backdrop for the murder investigations as Hill and Jordan delve further into the darker elements of human nature.
